Where is House Of Diamonds located?

We are primarily an online webshop, but you can also schedule an appointment to get advice and see rings in real life or measure your size. We do this in Dreesz, Brugstraat 9, in Almelo.

 

Where is our jewelry made?

Our jewelry is made in Austria, Italy, Germany and Europe.

 

What is the difference between 8/9/14 and 18 carat?

From 14 carat gold (58.5% gold) the ring must pass the guarantee, here it is checked whether the alloy meets the strictest requirements. At 14 and 18 carat (75% gold) our rings are provided with the Dutch Goldmark.

 

Gold

How do I know it is real gold?

De Waarborg Gouda is your guarantee. All our rings are sent to "De Waarborg Gouda". Here all our rings are measured if the gold alloy used meets the strictest requirements and our rings are provided with the Dutch Goldmark.

 

Diamonds

What quality are our diamonds?

Our diamonds are of high quality, Top Wesselton color H. The purity is always SI1 or SI2 Small internal characteristics.

 

What is the difference between zirconias and diamonds?

Zirconia stones are pieces of glass, which are a cheaper alternative to diamonds. However, zirconia stones can eventually become dull and lose their luster; they can fall out more quickly than diamonds.

Diamonds stay shiny forever and because they are brilliant cut they stay in the ring.

 

Are diamonds available in other colors?

Diamonds in other colors are possible (red and blue), mail, call or fill out our contact form for the me possibilities. Ruby is the red diamond and Sapphire is the blue diamond.

 

Warranty

What guarantee is there on my rings?
All rings from www.houseofdiamonds.nl have a lifetime warranty on the manufacture of the rings. If you have a problem with a purchased product, you can report it to us at any time and we will advise you how to solve the problem as soon as possible. We will do everything we can to keep you satisfied.

 

What warranty is there on my diamonds?

We give a one year warranty on diamonds, if they stay in within this year there is no problem and they will stay in place. If they fall out within this year, it concerns a production error and you will get warranty on this.

 

Delivery time

Why does it take so long for my ring to be ready?

It may be that we do not have your ring in stock and have to have your size made, also the rings often have to be engraved and in the case of gold (14 and 18 carat) the rings go through the guarantee. We will always keep you informed of the progress of your order.

 

What is the delivery time?

On average the delivery time of a 14 and 18 carat gold ring is 3 to 4 weeks and the delivery of a silver ring takes up to 1.5 weeks.

When you buy a ring of 14 or 18 carat, it has to pass the guarantee and the delivery time can be a bit longer. We will always keep you informed of the progress.

Shipping

 

How are the rings shipped?

All our rings are sent by registered mail in a box surrounded by an envelope or a cardboard box.

 

By whom will my order be shipped?

We send the rings by POSTNL or UPS.

 

Payment

How can I pay?

You can pay on Houseofdiamonds.com by:

1) Transferring the invoice amount to our account number. Do not forget to mention the order number (you will receive it within 24 hours in your mail). This way we can handle your payment quickly and correctly.

2) Via iDEAL. This payment method is only available for orders within the Netherlands. This payment method allows you to make the payment directly to your own bank during the ordering process. You pay in your trusted internet payment environment, based on specific security methods of your own bank. If you use telebanking, you can directly use iDEAL, without having to log in.

3) Cash, if you order at our location.

 

Deposit

Do I have to make a down payment? If so, how much?

For an amount below 500 euros, we ask for the entire amount at once. For an amount above 500 Euros, we ask for half of the amount as a down payment (50%).

 

Confirmation

Do I receive a confirmation when I place an order?

After each order you will receive an email confirming your order (within 24 hours after placing the order). This contains the complete order.

 

Returns

How can I return my product?

We will do everything within our power to give you as a customer a satisfied feeling and to keep that feeling. If we do accept rings back, then only with the invoice that you have received from us (via the mail). Without this form your return will not be processed. You can call or email us about the return options.

 

Ring size

How do I find out what my ring size is?

  • We will send you a bunch of rings and you can use these to measure the size.
    Or measure the inside diameter of the ring you have at home. Please note that a wide ring feels a little tighter on the finger, so for measuring preferably use a ring that matches the width of the ring you want to order. Measure the size with the ruler. It is also possible to put the ring that already fits you well on a ruler and measure the distance inside the ring.
  • Or come along at Dreesz, Brugstraat 9 in Almelo. Here we can measure your ring size
    At the jeweller's the size measured.
  • You can also walk into the nearest jeweler to ask about your ring size. The jeweler can help you measure the right ring size.

 

There are other points to consider:

A wide ring feels tighter around the finger, for a wide ring, take a half to full size larger. If your calculation leads you to a number that is not standard in the table (for example 17.8) choose the nearest (larger) size.

Heat and cold can make your fingers thicker or thinner. This can lead to a difference of a quarter of a ring size after just a few hours. Therefore calculate your ring size at room temperature.

If your ring size is between 2 sizes, choose the larger size.

 

Ring size guarantee

I have ordered a ring, but the size is not right.

If the size of your rings is unexpectedly wrong after receipt, you can claim once our ring size guarantee.

To claim the warranty you must take into account the following conditions;
You must first measure the correct size with our ring forest (so only if you have previously measured with our ring forest you can claim this guarantee and when the size is measured by us on location.
You are entitled to our free ring size guarantee up to 30 days after delivery of your ordered rings.
If the size is incorrect, make an appointment at our facility to measure the correct size.
We will return the adjusted rings or you can pick up the rings at our facility.
The arrangement can only be claimed once per order.
Exception steel and titanium rings, these are not covered by this scheme.

 

I would like to get an engagement ring for my loved one, how do I know what size?

You can check to see if your loved one has a ring that fits her/him well and order the correct size. You can also order a standard size for the day of the proposal and if it does not fit, exchange it within 30 days for the right size and / or pick another ring of the same price.

Returns only apply to engagement rings and can only be returned under the following conditions:

Engagement ring is unworn (trying on is of course possible)
Engagement ring is undamaged.
Engagement ring is not engraved.
The engagement ring must be returned by registered post and can only be exchanged once for another model in the same price range or another size. (When returning the ring, the shipping cost is for the customer)
For a return, you must first send an email to houseofdiamondsnl@gmail.com.
You send along the packing slip or a form with your details on it and mention the order number on the slip.

 

Viewing rings/ dummies

Is it possible to view rings in real life?

This is certainly possible in Dreesz, Burgstraat 9, Almelo. You can make an appointment online, by mail or by phone. Please let us know which ring you are looking for and we can see if we have a dummy of it.

 

Do you have a physical store?

We are an online shop, but we can receive and advise you at Dreesz in Almelo, Brugstraat 9.

 

I would like to make an appointment at a location, how do I do this?

You can send an email stating that you would like to make an appointment to houseofdiamondsnl@gmail.com, make an appointment on our site, by phone or by email.

 

Self Design

I would like to design something myself, how does this work?

If you want to design something yourself, you can send us an e-mail with some pictures and ideas. We will look at the ideas and respond a.s.a.p. with the possibilities.

 

I have seen a ring, but would like to customize it. Is this possible?

You send an email to houseofdiamondsnl@gmail.com with that you have seen a ring and would like to adjust it, you also send in this mail what you would like to adjust. We will see if these adjustments are possible and you will get that a.s.a.p. response to your mail. You can also reach us by phone and ask about the possibilities.

 

Certificate

Do you give a certificate of authenticity?

Yes, we will give you a certificate of guarantee (certificate of authenticity) with the amount of gold and the carat of the brilliant(s).

 

Do I get a certificate for my diamond(s)?

We will provide you with a diamond certificate (certificate of authenticity) stating the gold content and the carat of the brilliant(s).

Can I order by phone?
Yes, you can order by phone. We are always available for questions.

 

Can I pick up my placed order?

It is possible to place an order in the webshop and pick it up physically and pay, this goes by appointment.
